Nair & Co. Co-Founder Vyoma Nair Named ‘Woman of Influence’ By San Jose/Silicon

Sunnyvale, CA —Vyoma Nair, co-founder of Nair & Co., a firm that helps companies
expand internationally, has been recognized as one of Silicon Valley’s ‘2011 Women
of Influence’ by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
Vyoma will be recognized at a private reception and awards dinner on April 14 at
the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
The fourth annual Women of Influence honorees were chosen by a selection committee
based on success in their industries and contributions to the community from among
hundreds of nominations submitted by peers. Winners were featured in a special supplement
in the March 18 issue of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
As co-founder of Nair & Co., Vyoma plays a key role in helping U.S. companies
expand their global reach and is an industry expert in finance, compliance, legal
and human resource issues relating to foreign expansion by U.S. companies. With
more than 25 years of experience, her knowledge base spans a wide range of countries
in EMEA, APAC and CALA. She has single-handedly recruited and developed many of
Nair & Co.’s current team of specialists and is the author for all of the firm’s
key technical templates.

The passion reflected in Vyoma professional career is mirrored in her community
involvement. For many years, she helped to feed children in India through the Community
Aid and Sponsorship Program (CASP) of India non-governmental organization via the
provision of nutritious mid-day meals prepared in the community kitchen to 1100
young children. The project gave great value to children and community women engaged
in preparing and serving the meals.
